Omnipod 5 & Dash Waterproof Adhesive Overpatch

Add flexible adhesive reinforcement around your Omnipod insulin pump with a breathable overlay patch designed for Omnipod 5, Omnipod Dash and compatible legacy Eros pods. The patch surrounds the pod adhesive to help reduce edge lifting, snagging and accidental loosening during everyday wear.

The lightweight material moves with the body and is designed for extended wear during normal daily activity. A no-touch 3-part release liner helps make application easier and reduces handling of the adhesive.

White Micro-Woven Option

The white micro-woven option is soft, lightweight and breathable with moderate stretch to help the patch conform around the pod and skin during movement.

Tan Skin-Feel Option

The tan option uses a flexible non-woven material with a soft skin-feel texture designed to conform naturally with body movement.

How to Apply

1. Apply the Omnipod as directed and make sure the surrounding skin is clean and completely dry.
2. Center the overpatch around the pod so it reinforces the existing adhesive without covering areas that need to remain accessible.
3. Use the 3-part liner to place the patch without touching most of the adhesive.
4. Press firmly around the full patch perimeter for secure contact.

For best adhesion, avoid bathing, swimming or heavy exercise for 4–6 hours after application whenever practical.

Overpatch vs. Underpatch

An overpatch goes over and around the existing Omnipod adhesive to reinforce the outside edges. An underpatch goes on the skin first, beneath the pod adhesive, and may be preferred by customers looking for an additional skin barrier.

For additional physical protection against bumps and snags, pair the adhesive patch with a compatible Omnipod guard or protective cover.
