Tandem Mobi Freedom Flex Sleeve™
Setup, application, wear and removal instructions.
Skin Preparation
- Ensure skin is completely dry before applying the adhesive patch.
- Do not use lotions or oils on the application area.
- Do not apply over cuts, scrapes, open wounds or damaged skin.
- If needed, shave longer body hair where the patch will be applied.
- Clean the area with an alcohol wipe and allow the skin to dry fully.
- For added adhesion, a skin-prep adhesive barrier wipe may be used.
Applying the Patch & Freedom Flex Sleeve™
Locate the indicated backing sections and fold them outward to form pull tabs, then remove the first backing sections.
Position the exit slit in the direction you want the tubing to travel. Firmly press the adhesive patch onto clean, dry skin.
Use the pull tabs to remove the remaining backing. Press firmly around the entire patch edge to secure it.
Thread the Tandem Mobi tubing through the center opening and exit slit without kinking or sharply bending the tubing.
Place the Tandem Mobi into the Freedom Flex Sleeve™ so the device is held securely and the tubing exits comfortably.
For best adhesion, allow approximately 1 hour before strenuous activity, showering, or placing additional stress on the patch.
Tips for Longer Wear
- Start with clean, dry skin free from oils and sweat.
- Press the adhesive edges firmly after application.
- Keep tubing routed comfortably and check that it is not pulling.
- Check the sleeve and patch periodically during wear.
How to Remove the Patch
To help minimize discomfort, an adhesive-removal product may be used according to its own directions before removal.
Carefully take the device out of the Freedom Flex Sleeve™ before removing the adhesive patch.
Gently lift or stretch one corner of the adhesive to begin releasing it from the skin.
Remove the patch gradually, keeping the adhesive low and close to the skin rather than pulling straight upward.
After removal, gently clean away remaining adhesive residue and care for the skin as needed.
