Note: Before using your CGM with our barriers, we suggest testing the patch on your skin to ensure there is no adhesive interaction. Although these are FDA approved, latex and zinc free, it is always best to test first to ensure you do not waste any transmitters before proceeding. Once you have established a barrier that works for you, then use as a barrier. All barriers are latex and zinc free, FDA and tested by 3M specifically with a control group to ensure they provide hypoallergenic relief. All adhesive products on this website are of the same class materials seen here.

For best results, wait at least 8-12 hours before bathing and you'll notice how amazing these are. Prepare the area before application, just as you would prepare for your Dexcom G6 transmitter application.

HOW TO USE:

1. Apply our hypoallergenic adhesive barrier to the skin. Custom 2 part EZ Peel backing for application ease as shown in the application video. 
2. Apply the Dexcom G7 transmitter and attached adhesive over the top of this barrier. The center cutout shown is designed to allow room for the sensor Dexcom G7 moisture to escape amd for centering. The G7 wire will easily puncture the adhesive tape regardless of the direction of application. 
3. Use any brand over patch or the Infiniflex Guard Series or Freedom Band for added overlay coverage as needed.  (not required)

APPLICATION: 

For best results, apply our patches to clean and prepared skin. Designed with a no touch 2 part backing to apply the most perfect adhesion you've experienced.  We know how pesky patches are during application. Finally a patch you can easily apply. Watch the application video to help achieve best results. Use in conjunction with the system provided by Dexcom, an added layer of invisible, waterproof protection.

LET IT SET: 

It is suggested to apply your Freedom Patch after cleaning the area and on clean dry skin.  Avoid bathing or getting wet for 8-12 hours after application to allow the adhesive time to fully adhere to your skin as it binds using your body heat. The longer it sets, the better results you will achieve.  Similar to any adhesive patch, the adhesive properties warm to your skin temperature and seep into the pores of the skin creating an interlocking result on a microscopic level. During this time, you can use your Freedom Band for Dexcom G7 and case for best results.
