Freedom Patches are designed to integrate with compatible reusable Freedom Guard protective sensor covers. The protective guard helps shield the sensor from bumps and snags while the adhesive overpatch helps keep the protection system secured to the skin.

Because the sensor's original adhesive remains underneath, the Freedom overpatch can be replaced when needed without intentionally removing the sensor itself.

How to Apply Your Overpatch

Apply your FreeStyle Libre 3, Libre 3 Plus or Libre Duo according to the manufacturer's instructions. Make sure the surrounding skin is clean and completely dry. Position your compatible Freedom protective guard if used, center the Freedom adhesive overpatch, smooth the adhesive outward against the skin and press firmly around the entire patch.

For best adhesion, avoid lotions, oils or sunscreen around the application area.
