2" Universal Underpatch for CGM & Cannula Sites

Compatible with select Dexcom, FreeStyle Libre and Medtronic CGM systems, plus compatible cannula and infusion sites that fit within the 2-inch barrier area.

The Freedom Underpatch™ is a soft, breathable 2-inch (50.8 mm) solid adhesive barrier accessory placed beneath compatible device adhesive. Also commonly described as an underlay, underlay patch or adhesive barrier, its solid no-center-hole design provides a full 2-inch barrier area.

For compatible applications, the sensor filament or cannula is applied through the Freedom Underpatch™ during normal device application. Always follow the compatible device manufacturer's instructions.

Compatible Cannula & Infusion Sites

The solid 2-inch design can also be used with compatible cannula and infusion sites whose adhesive footprint fits within the barrier area and whose application method allows placement through the underpatch.

How to Apply

1. Clean and completely dry the application area.
2. Apply the Freedom Underpatch™ at the selected application area.
3. Center the compatible CGM or cannula-site applicator over the 2-inch underpatch.
4. Apply the compatible device according to the manufacturer's instructions.
5. For additional edge coverage, add a compatible Freedom Overpatch™ or Freedom Guard™ when appropriate.

Underpatch vs. Overpatch

The Underpatch is placed first beneath compatible device adhesive. An Overpatch goes over and around existing adhesive to provide supplemental edge coverage. The two accessories serve different placement purposes and can be combined when appropriate.
