Tandem Mobi Wear Options: Adhesive Sleeve vs Freedom Band Silicone Case & Adjustable Armband

Tandem Mobi is small enough that wear style becomes a major part of the experience. Some users prefer an adhesive sleeve close to the body; others want a reusable case-and-band option they can remove and reposition more easily.

Freedom Band now supports both approaches, so the better question is not “which one is best?” but “which one fits the way you want to wear Mobi today?”

Adhesive sleeve: low profile and body-worn

The Tandem Mobi adhesive patch and flexible guard sleeve is designed for people who want the pump secured close to the body with an adhesive-based wear setup.

This style can be appealing under clothing or when you want fewer straps. Like any adhesive system, skin preparation, placement and edge management matter.

Reusable case and Freedom Band: adjustable wear

A reusable case-and-band system gives you a different type of flexibility. Instead of attaching the pump location primarily through adhesive, the band becomes the adjustable wearable component. That can be useful when you want to change position, remove the band or coordinate colors without replacing an adhesive sleeve.

Which approach fits your day?

• Prefer a close, adhesive-based wear position? Look at the Mobi sleeve system.
• Prefer removable, adjustable wear? Look at the Freedom Band case-and-band setup.
• Switch depending on activity? Some people may find value in keeping more than one wear option available.

Don't forget the infusion site

Pump wear and infusion-site protection are separate decisions. Your pump can be well secured while the tubing or infusion site still encounters a snag. Our Tandem Mobi Protection Guide covers the larger system, including overpatches, underpatches and tubing anchors.

If compatible with your infusion-set style, also see the Freedom Cannula Guard guide.
