The flexible adhesive material moves comfortably with your skin while helping protect your CGM sensor from accidental bumps, lifting and premature adhesive failure.

 How to Apply Your Freedom Solo Overpatch™

Clean and dry your skin. Wash the application area with soap and water or clean it with an alcohol wipe. Allow the skin to dry completely. Do not apply lotion, sunscreen, oils, or moisturizers before application.

Apply your CGM sensor. Insert your Dexcom G7 or Stelo sensor according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Peel the inner backing. Remove the inner section of the backing closest to the center opening of the Freedom Solo Overpatch™. Avoid touching the adhesive whenever possible.

Center the overpatch. Carefully position the overpatch around your Dexcom G7 or Stelo sensor and gently press the exposed adhesive onto your skin.

Smooth the patch outward. Starting near the sensor, smooth the overpatch from the center outward. Press firmly to eliminate wrinkles and ensure full contact with the skin.

Remove the outer backing. Carefully peel away the remaining outer backing and continue smoothing the adhesive onto your skin.

Activate the adhesive. Apply gentle, even pressure for 30–60 seconds. Run your finger firmly around the entire surface and edges approximately 10 times to help create a secure bond.

For Best Results

Wait 4–6 hours before showering, swimming, exercising, or heavy sweating to give the adhesive time to fully bond to your skin.

Always apply your CGM overpatch to clean, completely dry skin for the strongest adhesion.

If needed, trim excess body hair before application. Avoid shaving immediately before applying the patch, as freshly shaved skin may be more sensitive.

Avoid lotions, oils, sunscreen, and moisturizers on the application area before applying your overpatch.

If an edge begins to lift after several days, make sure the area is clean and dry before pressing the edge firmly back into place.
