Do I have to remove my arm patch to switch to belt wear?
No. The Shuttle moves to the belt Base while the Dock and adhesive patch can stay on your arm. Switch back when you’re ready, provided the patch is still secure and your skin is comfortable.
Does the pump come out of its protective case?
No. Your Tandem Mobi stays inside the Freedom Shuttle as you move it between the arm Dock and belt Base.
What gets reused, and what gets replaced?
The Dock, Shuttle, and Base are reusable. Replace the adhesive patch for a new application. Patch wear varies with skin, activity, and application; switching mounts does not require a fresh patch.
Can I use my favorite Omnipod-style patch?
The Dock is designed to work with compatible Omnipod-style patches. Check the opening and coverage of your preferred patch for a proper fit. Five Freedom Patches are included to get you started.
What does “light-activated glow” mean?
A glow Dock appears white in normal light. After exposure to bright light, it glows green in darkness. The glow gradually fades and can be recharged with light. The Clear Crystal & Clear Crystal option contains two clear Docks.
Is this for the current Tandem Mobi?
Yes. This Max Pack is designed for the current Tandem Mobi insulin pump. The pump, tubing, infusion set, and insulin are not included. Follow Tandem’s instructions for pump use, tubing, and infusion-site changes.
Where is shipping free?
The Max Pack qualifies for free tracked shipping to the United States and Canada at the current price. Other destinations and optional shipping upgrades are calculated at checkout.
