Is the Tandem Mobi included?
No. The pump is shown for demonstration only. Freedom Shift is the Dock, Shuttle, Base and patches that hold it.
What are the Shuttle, Base and Dock made from?
The Freedom Shuttle and Freedom Base are made with real crushed carbon fiber composite. The Freedom Dock is made from flexible TPU. The Freedom Patch is the replaceable adhesive overpatch that secures the Dock to your skin.
How much height does Freedom Shift add?
About 1 mm. Measured from the skin, a Mobi in Freedom Shift sits about 17 mm (0.67 in) high, compared with about 16 mm (0.63 in) for the standard Tandem setup. That's roughly the thickness of a credit card, for full protection, a locking Dock and arm-to-belt shifting.
Which arm method should I use?
Which end of the Shuttle goes on first?
The star end. It leads onto the Dock and into the Base, and it's the end you lift to release from the Dock.
Can my tubing come out the top or the bottom?
Yes. The Shuttle is open at both ends, so the Mobi can go in either way.
Is the Dock reusable?
Yes. When it's time for a new patch, peel the old patch off the Dock and attach a fresh one the same way as step 02.
What are the holes and channels in the Dock for?
They move sweat and shower water out from under the Dock to the patch fabric, where it can dry.
How does the Green Glow Dock work?
It is light-activated: white in daylight, then glowing green in the dark after charging with light. Choose Crystal or the light-activated Green Glow option.
Which pocket clips fit the Base?
Any standard two- or three-hole pocket clip up to 6 cm long. Premium Benchmade and Spyderco clips fit too.
The Shuttle won't release. What now?
Take the Mobi out, then use the shield backup release for the Dock (step 07) or the Base (step 08).
