Tiny Dots. Big Fix.™

Freedom Fix-It Dots™ are 1-inch adhesive utility patches designed for two targeted uses: reinforcing a small lifting section of existing medical-device adhesive and creating a secondary anchor point for insulin-pump tubing.

They are universal and are not shaped for one particular CGM, pump or infusion set.

Freedom Fix-It Dots uses for anchoring pump tubing and reinforcing lifting adhesive edges

Repair a Lifting Edge

  1. Clean and completely dry the exposed skin beside the lifting edge.
  2. Position the Fix-It Dot so it overlaps both the existing patch and clean surrounding skin.
  3. Bend the split liner and remove one half without touching the adhesive.
  4. Place the exposed half, then remove the remaining liner and smooth the rest into place.
  5. Press firmly across the complete Dot and around every edge approximately 10 times.

Anchor Pump Tubing

  1. Select a comfortable skin area away from the infusion or cannula site and away from joints such as the elbow.
  2. Leave a small relaxed loop of tubing between the infusion site and the planned anchor. Do not pull the tubing tight.
  3. Lay the tubing naturally against clean, dry skin without twisting or kinking it.
  4. Center a Fix-It Dot across the tubing and apply it using the split release liner.
  5. Press the adhesive firmly to the skin on both sides of the tubing, then confirm the tubing remains relaxed and unrestricted.

Quick Safety Check

  • The Dot is attached only to healthy, clean and dry skin.
  • No sensor opening, vent, port, insertion site or cannula is covered.
  • Pump tubing has comfortable slack and is not stretched, twisted, pinched or kinked.
  • The Dot does not interfere with normal device operation.
  • Every adhesive edge is smooth and firmly pressed.
  • Remove the Dot and discontinue use if irritation or discomfort occurs.

Allow the Adhesive to Bond

When possible, apply the Fix-It Dot 4–6 hours before swimming, bathing, exercise or heavy sweating. Check the Dot and the surrounding device adhesive regularly and replace it when it becomes loose, dirty or damaged.
