Dexcom G6 3x4" CGM Adhesive Overpatch

Designed for the Dexcom G6 continuous glucose monitor, this 3x4-inch Freedom Overpatch™ provides broad supplemental adhesive coverage around the transmitter and original sensor adhesive during everyday and active wear.

The flexible patch can be worn as a standalone Dexcom G6 CGM overpatch or used with compatible reusable Freedom Band® protective guards and cases.

Standalone Overpatch or Reusable Guard System

The Freedom Overpatch™ can be worn directly around the Dexcom G6 as a standalone adhesive patch. It is also designed with a center opening that can accommodate compatible reusable protective covers and Freedom Guard™ systems.

When used with a compatible reusable guard, the guard provides physical coverage around the transmitter while the adhesive overpatch helps secure the protection system to the skin.

No-Touch 4-Part Application Backing

The No-Touch 4-part backing is designed to make positioning the larger Dexcom G6 patch easier while minimizing unnecessary contact with the adhesive. Remove the backing sections during application, center the patch around the compatible sensor or guard, and smooth the adhesive outward onto clean, dry skin.

How to Apply Your Dexcom G6 Overpatch

1. Apply the Dexcom G6 according to the manufacturer's instructions.
2. Make sure the surrounding skin is clean and completely dry.
3. Position a compatible Freedom Guard™ if one is being used.
4. Use the No-Touch 4-part backing to center the Freedom Overpatch™ around the transmitter or compatible guard.
5. Smooth the adhesive outward and press around the patch to establish contact with the skin.

For best adhesion, allow the patch time to establish contact before bathing, swimming or heavy activity whenever practical.

Need a Skin Barrier Under Your Dexcom G6?

An Overpatch goes over and around the Dexcom G6 adhesive. If you need a physical skin barrier beneath the original sensor adhesive, use the Dexcom G6 Freedom Underpatch™.

The Underpatch and Overpatch serve different purposes and can be combined when appropriate: the Underpatch sits beneath the compatible Dexcom G6 adhesive, while the Overpatch provides supplemental adhesive coverage from above.
