How to Apply Your Dexcom G7 Overpatch

Step 1: Clean the application area thoroughly and allow your skin to dry completely. Avoid lotions, oils, sunscreen or other products that could interfere with adhesion.

Step 2: Apply your Dexcom G7 sensor according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Step 3: Begin removing the No Touch backing while minimizing contact with the adhesive.

Step 4: Carefully align the precision center-hole cutout around your Dexcom G7 sensor.

Step 5: Remove the remaining backing sections and gently smooth the adhesive outward against your skin.

Step 6: Apply gentle pressure around the entire overpatch to help establish a secure adhesive bond.

Let Your Dexcom G7 Overpatch Set

For best results, apply your Freedom Overpatch to clean, completely dry skin. Avoid bathing, swimming, heavy sweating or strenuous activity for approximately 6–8 hours after application whenever possible to give the adhesive time to establish its bond.

Easy to Change Your G7 Overpatch
