Universal Cannula Site Overpatch | Tandem, Medtronic & More

Designed for a wide variety of compatible cannula and infusion sites, including select Tandem, Medtronic and other compatible systems.

The Freedom Overpatch™ is a lightweight, flexible 2.5-inch adhesive accessory designed to fit over and around compatible infusion-site adhesive. The 7/8-inch (about 2 cm) center opening helps keep the connection area accessible while the surrounding patch provides supplemental edge coverage.

Compatibility depends on the cannula or infusion-site dimensions and placement fitting appropriately within the 2.5-inch patch and 7/8-inch center opening.

How to Apply

1. Apply the compatible cannula or infusion set according to the manufacturer's instructions.
2. Make sure the surrounding skin is clean and completely dry.
3. Position the Freedom Overpatch™ around the site so the connector and cannula area remain properly aligned and accessible.
4. Use the No-Touch 2-part release liner to position the patch.
5. Smooth the adhesive outward and press around the perimeter.

Overpatch vs. Underpatch

This Overpatch goes over and around existing compatible site adhesive to reinforce the outside edges. A compatible Freedom Underpatch™ goes on the skin first beneath the site adhesive as a physical barrier accessory. The two products serve different placement purposes and can be combined when appropriate.
