Designed specifically for the Dexcom G7 continuous glucose monitor, this 2.7-inch clear Freedom Overpatch™ features a center-hole cutout designed to fit around the body of the Dexcom G7 sensor. The sensor body remains uncovered while the clear adhesive patch surrounds it and provides supplemental adhesive coverage around the original Dexcom G7 adhesive during everyday and active wear.

The ultra-thin clear film creates a low-profile Dexcom G7 CGM adhesive overpatch while keeping the sensor and surrounding skin visible. Also commonly described as an adhesive sensor patch, sensor patch, overlay patch or protective patch, it reinforces the existing Dexcom G7 adhesive from above.

Center-Hole Cutout Fits Around the Dexcom G7 Body

This is a center-hole Dexcom G7 overpatch, not a no-hole patch. The opening is specifically designed to fit around the body of the Dexcom G7 sensor so the sensor itself remains exposed. The surrounding 2.7-inch clear adhesive patch then provides broad 360-degree reinforcement around the original sensor adhesive.

The center-hole construction also keeps the clear overpatch adhesive from intentionally covering the top of the Dexcom G7 sensor body.

Clear, Low-Profile CGM Adhesive Coverage

The transparent design provides supplemental adhesive support without an opaque fabric appearance. Its flexible construction is designed for normal movement during work, sleep, exercise and other everyday activities.

Standalone Overpatch or Protective Guard System

Wear the clear Dexcom G7 Overpatch by itself for lightweight adhesive reinforcement or pair it with a compatible reusable Freedom Guard™ for additional physical protection against everyday bumps and snags. A compatible Freedom Band® can provide another layer of non-adhesive support when desired.

Overpatch vs. Underpatch

This clear center-hole Overpatch goes over and around the existing Dexcom G7 adhesive while fitting around the sensor body. If you need a physical skin barrier beneath compatible sensor adhesive, use a Dexcom G7 Freedom Underpatch™ instead. The two products serve different purposes.
