Medtronic MiniMed Instinct Adhesive CGM Overpatches

Designed for the Medtronic MiniMed Instinct CGM sensor, Freedom Patches™ by Freedom Band® are soft, flexible adhesive overpatches that provide supplemental adhesive coverage around the sensor during everyday and active wear.

These MiniMed Instinct overpatches can also be used with compatible reusable Freedom Guard™ protective sensor covers for additional physical protection.

The MiniMed Instinct sensor is exposed to clothing, sleeping, exercise, sweat and normal daily activity. A compatible Freedom Overpatch™ adds supplemental adhesive coverage around the sensor while remaining lightweight and flexible against the skin.

Designed to Work With Freedom Protective Guards

Freedom Patches™ integrate with compatible reusable Freedom Guard™ sensor covers. The reusable guard helps provide physical coverage around the MiniMed Instinct sensor while the adhesive overpatch helps secure the protection system to the skin.

Because the sensor's original adhesive remains underneath, the compatible Freedom overpatch can be replaced when needed without intentionally removing the sensor itself.

How to Apply Your MiniMed Instinct Overpatch

1. Apply the Medtronic MiniMed Instinct sensor according to the manufacturer's instructions.
2. Make sure the surrounding skin is clean and completely dry.
3. Position your compatible Freedom Guard™ over the sensor if one is being used.
4. Center the Freedom adhesive overpatch around the sensor or compatible guard.
5. Smooth the adhesive outward against the skin and press firmly around the patch.

For best adhesion, avoid lotions, oils or sunscreen around the application area.
