Dexcom G6 CGM Skin Barrier Underpatch

Designed for the Dexcom G6 continuous glucose monitor.

Freedom Band® Dexcom G6 underpatches are worn beneath the compatible Dexcom G6 adhesive to create a physical skin barrier between the device adhesive and skin. Also commonly described as an underlay, underlay patch or adhesive barrier, the underpatch is applied first, before the Dexcom G6 sensor adhesive.

How the Dexcom G6 Underpatch Works

1. Apply the Freedom Underpatch™ to clean, dry skin using the 3-part EZ Peel backing.
2. Position and apply the Dexcom G6 according to the device manufacturer's instructions, with the Dexcom adhesive resting over the barrier patch.
3. For additional security and coverage, add a compatible Freedom Overpatch™, Freedom Guard™ or Freedom Band® protection system.

Before using a new adhesive product, consider testing the patch material on a small area of skin first. Individual skin responses to adhesives can vary.

Application & Wear Tips

Apply the underpatch to clean, completely dry skin. For best adhesion, avoid getting the patch wet immediately after application and follow the Dexcom G6 manufacturer's application and safety instructions.
