Omnipod 5, Dash & Eros Insulin Pump Adhesive Overpatch

Designed for Omnipod 5, Omnipod Dash and compatible legacy Omnipod Eros pods, the Freedom Overpatch™ provides supplemental adhesive coverage around the pod during everyday and active wear. This flexible insulin pump adhesive overpatch surrounds the original pod adhesive to help reinforce the outside edges.

Designed for Tubeless Insulin Pump Pod Wear

Unlike a CGM sensor patch, this Freedom Overpatch™ is designed around a compatible tubeless insulin pump pod. The patch provides supplemental adhesive coverage around the Omnipod adhesive footprint while leaving the pod accessible during normal wear.

White Polywoven & Tan Skin Texture Options

The White Polywoven Waterproof option is soft, lightweight and breathable with moderate flexibility to conform around the pod and skin during movement. The Tan Skin Texture option uses a flexible non-woven material with a soft skin-feel texture designed to move naturally with the body.

How to Apply Your Omnipod Overpatch

1. Apply the compatible Omnipod pod according to the manufacturer's instructions and make sure the surrounding skin is clean and completely dry.
2. Center the Freedom Overpatch™ around the pod so it reinforces the existing adhesive while keeping necessary pod areas accessible.
3. Use the No-Touch 3-part release liner to position the patch while minimizing contact with the adhesive.
4. Smooth the patch outward and press around the perimeter to establish contact with the skin.

Overpatch vs. Underpatch

An overpatch goes over and around the existing Omnipod adhesive to reinforce the outside edges. An underpatch goes on the skin first beneath compatible device adhesive and serves a different purpose as a physical skin barrier.

For additional physical protection against everyday bumps and snags, the adhesive patch can also be paired with a compatible reusable Omnipod Freedom Guard™ or protective cover.
