The Freedom Barrier Underpatch is a soft, latex-free and zinc-free adhesive barrier designed for Freestyle Libre 3 and Libre 3 Plus CGM sensors. Applied directly to the skin before your sensor, the underpatch creates a barrier between your skin and the original Libre sensor adhesive.

Designed for users who prefer an additional layer between their skin and CGM adhesive, our Libre 3 underpatch combines a thin, flexible design with materials selected for comfortable extended wear.

Designed for Freestyle Libre 3 & Libre 3 Plus

Unlike an overpatch that is applied over and around a CGM sensor, the Freedom Barrier is an underpatch. It is applied directly to your skin before installing your Freestyle Libre 3 or Libre 3 Plus sensor.

The sensor is then applied over the barrier according to the manufacturer's application instructions, creating an additional layer between your skin and the original sensor adhesive.

The underpatch creates a barrier beneath the sensor adhesive, while the overpatch provides additional adhesive coverage around the sensor area.
