Freedom Patches™ by Freedom Band® are soft, flexible CGM adhesive overpatches designed to provide supplemental adhesive coverage around compatible FreeStyle Libre sensors during everyday and active wear. They help reinforce the surrounding sensor adhesive area while remaining lightweight and flexible against the skin.

A CGM sensor is exposed to clothing, sleeping, exercise, sweat and normal daily activity. A compatible Freedom Overpatch™ adds supplemental adhesive coverage around the FreeStyle Libre 3, Libre 3 Plus or Libre Duo sensor and can be used with a compatible reusable Freedom Guard™ for additional physical protection.

Designed to Work With Freedom Protective Guards

These Freedom Patches™ integrate with compatible reusable Freedom Guard™ sensor covers. The reusable guard helps provide physical coverage around the sensor while the adhesive overpatch helps secure the protection system to the skin.

Because the sensor's original adhesive remains underneath, the compatible Freedom overpatch can be replaced when needed without intentionally removing the sensor itself.

How to Apply Your FreeStyle Libre Overpatch

Apply your FreeStyle Libre 3, Libre 3 Plus or Libre Duo according to the manufacturer's instructions. Make sure the surrounding skin is clean and completely dry. Position your compatible Freedom Guard™ if used, center the Freedom adhesive overpatch, smooth the adhesive outward against the skin and press firmly around the patch. Avoid lotions, oils or sunscreen around the application area.
