Keep your FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor adhesive covered and reinforced with our 3.25-inch Freedom Overlay Patch. This lightweight CGM adhesive overpatch provides 360-degree adhesive coverage around your Libre 2 sensor while remaining soft, flexible and comfortable for everyday wear.

Made from micro-woven polyester, each FreeStyle Libre 2 adhesive patch is waterproof, latex-free and designed to flex naturally with your skin. Wear it directly over your Libre 2 sensor or combine it with a compatible protective guard when additional physical protection is desired.

3.25" FreeStyle Libre 2 Overlay Patch

The larger 3.25-inch diameter provides generous adhesive coverage around the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor. The center opening is intentionally sized to accommodate the sensor as well as many compatible protective guards and covers.

This makes the Freedom Overlay Patch equally useful as a stand-alone Libre 2 overpatch or as the adhesive component of a more complete CGM protection system.

Simply remove each backing section during application, position the patch around your sensor and gently smooth the adhesive outward against your skin.

How to Apply Your Libre 2 Adhesive Overpatch

Step 1: Clean the application area thoroughly and allow your skin to dry completely. Avoid lotion, sunscreen, oils or other products that could interfere with the adhesive.

Step 2: Apply your FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Step 3: Begin removing the No Touch backing from your Freedom Overlay Patch while avoiding unnecessary contact with the adhesive.

Step 4: Carefully center the patch around your Libre 2 sensor and gently press it against your skin.

Step 5: Remove the remaining backing sections and smooth the patch outward, making sure the adhesive has full contact with your skin.

Step 6: Apply gentle pressure around the entire patch to help establish a secure adhesive bond.

Let Your Libre 2 Overpatch Set

For best results, apply your Freedom Overlay Patch to clean, completely dry skin. Avoid bathing, swimming, heavy sweating or strenuous activity for approximately 6–8 hours after application whenever possible. This gives the adhesive time to establish a strong bond with your skin.
