Designed for the Medtronic Guardian 4 CGM sensor used with the MiniMed 780G system, this clear Freedom Overpatch™ provides transparent supplemental adhesive coverage over and around the compatible sensor during everyday and active wear.

The ultra-thin clear film creates a low-profile CGM adhesive overpatch while keeping the sensor and surrounding skin visible. Also commonly described as a sensor patch, adhesive sensor patch, overlay patch or protective patch, it reinforces the existing sensor adhesive from above.

Clear, Low-Profile CGM Adhesive Coverage

The transparent design provides broad adhesive coverage without covering the sensor with an opaque fabric patch. It is designed for everyday activities including work, sleep, exercise, showers, swimming and travel. Actual wear time can vary based on skin preparation, activity, humidity and water exposure.

Overpatch vs. Underpatch

This clear Overpatch goes over and around the existing compatible Guardian 4 sensor adhesive to provide supplemental adhesive coverage. An Underpatch serves a different purpose and is placed on the skin beneath compatible device adhesive.
