Tandem Mobi Protection Guide: Pump Guard, Overpatch, Underpatch & Tubing Anchor

The Tandem Mobi is designed to be small and wearable, but everyday life can still put a pump, infusion site and tubing in contact with clothing, seat belts, bags, exercise gear and normal movement. The goal of protection is not to change how the pump works. It is to help organize and protect the wearable setup around it.

Four different protection jobs

No single accessory solves every problem. A useful Mobi setup can include different layers depending on your routine.

1. A flexible pump guard

The Tandem Mobi Adhesive Patch & Flexible Insulin Pump Guard Cover adds a reusable protective layer around the pump for everyday wear. It can be especially useful when clothing or activity puts the pump in places where it may be bumped or rubbed.

2. An infusion-site overpatch

3. A skin-barrier underpatch

How to choose

Think about the problem first. If the pump itself gets bumped, consider a guard. If adhesive edges lift, consider an overpatch. If you want a layer between skin and adhesive, look at an underpatch. If tubing or one small edge needs extra organization, a Fix-It Dot may be enough.
