Running, lifting, team sports and active work can expose a CGM to sweat, repetitive movement, clothing friction and accidental contact. The best protection setup depends on the activity and how much removable or adhesive protection you prefer.
For sweat and movement
Adhesive overpatches can add coverage around a sensor's adhesive area. Proper skin preparation and application are important, especially when heat and sweat are part of the activity.
For bumps and snags
A guard or cover adds a physical barrier around the wearable. A reusable armband can provide removable protection for activities where you want an additional layer without relying only on adhesive.
Layer protection thoughtfully
More isn't automatically better. Accessories should fit the intended device and should not obstruct required openings or interfere with normal operation. Follow the manufacturer's placement and use instructions.
